Een virus heeft onze wereld stilgelegd, voor enige tijd zijn onze levens ‘gecanceld’ en vragen wij ons af hebben wij wel een bestaansrecht. Veel kunstvormen zijn nu weggevallen. Is kunst dan nutteloos in tijd van onzekerheden? Nee hoor, kunst deelt een onverwachte eigenschap met het corona virus, ze heft ons normale, veilige bestaan op, gooit zekerheden overhoop, doorbreekt elke routine, met dat ene verschil: de virus houdt ons binnen, kunst brengt ons naar buiten.

Antonis Pratsinakis is an accomplished cellist from the Netherlands. For “Blueroom” Pratsinakis approaches the cello composition like a mixing board. Coaxing electronically modulated sounds from just about every crevice of the instrument’s hollow body, Pratsinakis’s work draws huge synth overtones from manipulated pulls of the bow, electronic percussion and lines that skirt the periphery of experimental electronic composition and post-rock. ”Tome To The Weather Machine”
